TIFIN Wealth offers several integration options for advisors to connect client portfolio holdings data, contact records, and account level data across custodian, CRM, and wealthtech integrations respectively.

There are several key benefits to connecting your integrations on TIFIN Wealth:

  • Streamline workflows by eliminating manual data entry, helping to reduce errors and ensure a seamless flow of client information into TIFIN Wealth.

  • Pulling client data directly from CRM systems enables advisors to generate personalized investment proposals faster and with greater accuracy.

  • Integrating custodial data allows advisors to incorporate real-time account holding to improve the quality of investment recommendations.

  • Advisors can re-sync data between TIFIN Wealth and each platform to pull the latest available data.


Custodian Integration Instructions

To setup a custodial integration:

  1. Go to Settings > Profile & Firm > Integrations

  2. Click on the Custodian tab > Connect Now

  3. Click Connect on the any one of the available custodian's on TIFIN Wealth, which include the following:

    1. Charles Schwab

    2. Fidelity / NFS

    3. Raymond James

    4. BNY Mellon | Pershing

    5. BNY Mellon | Albridge

    6. Royal Bank of Canada

  4. Click "Trouble Connecting" to view step-by-step instructions for your specific custodian:

  5. Read and review the Trouble Connecting and Commonly Asked Questions categories in detail. Click into and follow the instructions in the respective documents provided to ensure you complete the required actions on the custodian side before you can move forward.

  6. Once your custodian (Schwab, Fidelity, NFS, etc.) completes the required steps on their end and has approved the connection, login to TIFIN Wealth to input your advisor code/master account number. Depending on your integration, you will need to input a Master Account Number, Rep Code, G-number, FA Number, PUID Code, or IP Number:

  7. Once you've entered the account number the respective custodian, click Connect and you are all set!


CRM Integration Instructions

TIFIN Wealth integrates with several major CRM systems to sync names, email addresses and client / prospect segments. Current integrations include Redtail, Wealthbox, Hubspot, and Salesforce.

  1. Go to Settings > Profile & Firm > Integrations

  2. Click Connect Now > Select a CRM and click Connect

  3. Enter your login credentials > Authenticate

  4. Choose the lists you want to import > Select the List Type, which will either be Client List or Prospect List > Click Next

  5. Confirm you have the correct list selected and click Import

  6. When importing from Redtail or Wealthbox, we group contacts by the “status” field. The advisor will have one final change to keep or edit each contacts list by which they will be imported into TIFIN Wealth. Make any necessary edits or leave as is before clicking Import:

  7. Once connected, you may go back to the CRM Integrations page to refresh your CRM connection or break the connection using the buttons on the integration tile:

Once you've setup your integration, you will see the imported contacts in their respective Clients or Prospects tables to begin sending assessments and generating proposals:


WealthTech Integration Instructions

TIFIN Wealth also integrates with leading portfolio management platforms Orion, CircleBlack, and Black Diamond to sync contact and account data. The setup instructions are the same as that of the CRM and Custodial integration.

Simply follow the steps above and either enter your username and password:

Email Integration

When sending assessments via the platform, you have the option to connect your Gmail or Outlook account. That way the email comes directly from your email address versus [email protected].

Under Profile & Settings click on Integrations > scroll over to Email > click Connect > follow the prompts.


Integration Status

Each integration is different but they will all have an integration connection status. Navigate to the integrations page > take note of the status of your integration as outlined below:

  • Success: your integration connected successfully. If this is your status and you are missing clients/accounts, please reach out to [email protected]

  • Partially Processed: some of your accounts failed to come over. You can download the CSV file showing which accounts failed to connect and the reason why said account did not sync.

  • Failed: please reach out to [email protected] and let them know your integration is showing a failed status for further troubleshooting.


Integration FAQs

What type of data is pulled from the custodian upon integration with TIFIN Wealth?

  • Client's first name, last name, email, account data including holdings and shares. Active custodian integrations sync on a nightly basis.

What type of data is pulled from the CRM upon integration with TIFIN Wealth?

  • Client's first name, last name, email, and status (client or prospect).

I just setup my integration, how long does it take for my client information to sync?

  • 24 hours.

NFS Specific Instructions

  • View Fidelity's "Clearing Instructions" form (found as an attached PDF at the bottom of this page).

  • NOTE: Please do not mask the first name/last name/email fields. TIFIN needs these fields left as unmasked for the integration to work.

  • Once you've received confirmation that the connection has been processed, proceed by entering your Rep Code/G-number:

  • Charles Schwab may ask for an individual's name, email & phone at TIFIN Wealth. Please provide the following:
