Create a Personalized Proposal

After your client or prospect has taken the Personality assessment, the next step is to recommend a portfolio that aligns with their financial Personality and generate a personalized proposal.


Make a Recommendation

To make a recommendation based on a client's personality assessment, from the home screen:

  1. Select a client > click Recommendations

  2. By default, TIFIN will recommend a core model plus thematic exposure:

    1. The core model is selected from your Active Model List

    2. The themes are based on themes chosen in the assessment

  3. Navigate between various tabs at the top of the page to view more information:

  4. To recommend a different CORE model > Click on the recommended model (i.e., Fidelity Target Allocation 70/30) > search & choose from your Active Model List > click Select beside the model that you'd like to recommend:

  5. To add or delete thematic tilts, click on the suggested themes > click See All:

  6. Click Edit:

  7. To add themes to the recommendation, click Add More Themes:

  8. To delete recommended themes, hover your cursor over a theme and click X:

  9. Click Save Themes to apply the changes.


Modify the Guardrails

Modify the Guardrails (i.e. Maximum Allocation and Tracking Error) for adding Thematic Funds to a recommended portfolio:

  1. When viewing a recommendation for a client, click Settings:

  2. The default is 10% for Maximum Allocation and 0.5% for Tracking Error. Edit the percentage:

  3. Click Apply Changes to save.


Make a Recommendation Without Themes

Recommend a Core model based on the personality assessment without adding any thematic exposure (i.e. turn of thematic exposure).

  1. Select a client > click Recommendations > click Settings:

  2. Uncheck Personality (leave Risk) > click Apply Changes:


Generate a Proposal

To generate a personalized proposal (.PDF), once you have selected a recommendation for a client:

  1. Click Proposals:

  2. Click All Accounts to make a recommendation for a specific account (or leave as is) > click IPS to select a different template > check/uncheck elements of the proposal to make it as long or as short as needed:

  3. Click Generate Proposal to download a PDF.
