When making an investment recommendation, advisors have the option to blend two or more models together while working directly with a client. To "blend models on-the-fly", follow the steps below:
Pull up your client or prospect's account > navigate to the Recommendations tab:
You are presented with the recommended model as determined by TIFIN Wealth's portfolio optimizer > click Create a Blended Model:
Filter your models using the tabs on the left either to the Marketplace, Custom, or your Active Models. To limit onto to the models that fall within the client's risk band, toggle the slider icon to the right (on) position:
Hypothetically, let's say the client wants to stay within a single fund manager but blend risk levels across a suite of Blackrock Target Allocation and Factor Rotation models. Check the box next to the requested models > set the model weights > name the blend > Click Save Blend:
Upon saving, you will see your blended model saved as the client's recommended model as shown by the staggered cards:
Scroll down to see the combined risk score of the blended model.
If the blend is too aggressive or too conservative, can click into the cards to view each sleeve and click Edit Model in the top right to make any desired adjustments to the models or their weights:
Click Reset to start from scratch with the default recommended model:
