There are two ways to add a client's or prospect's portfolio into TIFIN Wealth:
Manual entry
Via an integration with a Custodian or CRM (view this article to integrate)
Manually Add a Portfolio
To manually add a portfolio (for example, in the case a prospect provides you with statements before your first meeting), from your home screen:
Select an individual from your Clients & Prospects List
Build Portfolio from scratch or Upload a file with holdings
If building a portfolio from scratch: search for each security by Ticker, CUSIP, or Name > enter the number of shares or the market value > click + Add > once all positions are entered click Save and name the account
If uploading a file: download the Sample File and copy/paste tickers and shares into the sample.
Note: input "OTHER" into the Custodian column
Enter a Nominal Recommended Portfolio Value
Use Case: "My prospect has $250,000 to invest and I'd rather not upload their full portfolio. How do I enter this value so it reflects within the recommended portfolio details?"
Pull up the client or prospect overview page > click on Investments under Recommendations on the left hand side > click on Settings in the top right corner
Click on the default value of $100k > change the value > click Apply Changes
**Please note that this option will only show for prospects or clients that do not have a current portfolio uploaded
This value will now reflect in the holdings breakdown, forward looking return charts, and the possible loss/gains chart in the proposal

Yes and no. If the account was manually added, then yes. If the account has come over from an integration, then no.
Can I separate out my client accounts?
You can work with accounts individually by choosing the account in this drop down:
However, you cannot unmerge client accounts. For example, if a client has 5 accounts coming over from the integration and you want to separate out one of those into a separate client record-this functionality is not supported at this time.
